Orange UK and Apple Inc. have come to an understanding by means of which the iPhone 3G and 3GS will be made available to Orange UK customers later this year. Orange globally now offers the iPhone on 28 different countries, the latest being the UK.
Orange has the largest 3G network in the UK than any other operator. Users can buy the iPhone in all Orange direct channels including Orange shops, the Orange webshop and Orange telesales channels. Selected high street partners will also offer the iPhone.
Orange has launched a pre-registration web site for customers. The URL of the site is www.orange.co.uk/iphone.
Orange has not made available information on pricing, tariffs and availability. This information will be available in the next few days.
