How to Reset iPod Nano

If your iPod stops working properly, gets stuck, etc. you can probably fix it by resetting it back to factory settings. This is true for almost all other electronic devices like calculators, mobile phones, etc. This article provides instructions for resetting your iPod Nano.

Instructions:

1) Toggle the hold switch of the iPod Nano for a few times.

2) At the same time, press and hold the Menu and Select buttons.

3) Wait for about 8 to 10 seconds. The Apple logo will appear which indicates that the iPod has been reset to factory settings.

4) Repeat the steps above if you are not able to reset your iPod.

Additional tips:

–> These instructions will also work for all other 4th and 5th generation iPods. It may also work with some other iPods.

–> It usually takes 6 to 10 seconds for the iPod to restart.

–> Reset your iPod only when it is very much necessary.
