Zune Software is a great application that allows you to organize all of your music, video and picture files. You don’t need to have the Microsoft Zune player to be able to use Zune Software. All you need is a standard Windows-based computer. Zune Software works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. By downloading the software, you can also get a free 14-day Zune Pass to browse, stream, and download millions of songs. Currently, the version of Zune Software is 4.0.
Here are some instructions to download Zune software:
1) Go to the Zune website: www.zune.net. On the homepage, you’ll find a link to "Zune Software". Click on that link.
2) Click on the "download Zune" button and a new window pops up. Click on save, and choose where you want the installation program to go.
3) Double-click on the same program file and follow the instructions on screen to install the software.
