Google Chrome for Mac OS Very Near

Google Chrome developers have been able to overcome a crucial hurdle–printing support in Chrome for Mac OS. According to the issue-tracking system, printing support for Mac OS has now been integrated into the browser.

Earlier, Google had stated that Mac printing support was one of the key issues that was stopping the company from making a version of Google Chrome available for the Mac.

Google wants to make its browser available on as many platforms as possible. Google is currently actively developing a Linux version of its browser. This version is very crucial to Google as it is a key component of its Chrome OS project.

On the Windows side, many features planned for Windows 7 have been postponed for the version. These features include support for thumbnails, jump lists, pinning thumbnails to the task bar, overlaying a download status bar on the Chrome icon.

Initially, the Windows 7 features were to be included in version 4.x. However, now they will be available in version 5.x.

The current stable version of Chrome is 3.0.195.27.
