Giorgio Armani unveiled a $1000 Samsung luxury mobile phone on Friday. Armani, one of the best known fashion designers, mentioned that the luxury mobile phone combined beauty with function in a simple and straightforward way.
Armani said, “Today more than ever, elegant dressing is part of daily business life. When Samsung asked me to design the new business and lifestyle smartphone I decided to use my fashion aesthetic to create it.”
He further stated, “I simply aim to create a smartphone which is not only an elegant tool but also functional and useful, perfect for today’s managers. The result is a unique smartphone perfectly suited to every moment of one’s business and private day.”
The Samsung luxury phone comes with a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen, a QWERTY hybrid keyboard, 7.2 MBPS HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, GPS navigation, a 5MP camera and 8 GB of internal memory. Storage can be expanded further up to 32 GB via MicroSD. The phone runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.
JK Shin, Samsung’s VP mentioned that the luxury phone was a proof that Samsung was committed to bring cutting-edge technology and exclusive design and fashion to the end-users.
