Memory i.e. RAM is one of the main parts of the computer. RAM i.e. random access memory is where the computer stores instructions and data while performing operations on it. Since applications store data and instructions in RAM, the amount of RAM present in your computer determines the amount of data your computer can process at a time. The overall speed of your computer depends on the amount of RAM your computer has.
Here are instructions to find out the amount of RAM installed in your computer:
1) Rick-click on “My Computer” icon.
2) Select Properties.
3) Under the General tab, you can find the amount of RAM present in your computer.
Tips
==> If your computer is very slow, upgrading RAM i.e. adding more RAM to your computer can make it run faster.
