Mobile phone manufacturers Zen has launched a new mobile handset in the low-end segment. Known as "S10", the handset is a slider phone and comes with a number of multimedia features.
The phone is equipped with 2 GB of memory, dual-SIM compatibility and comes in a metallic finish. The phone’s internal memory can be expanded up to 4 GB by using microSD cards.
The phone features a 2.2 inch TFT screen, and can play both MP3 and MPEG-4 multimedia files. It also comes with a two megapixel camera, flash support and FM radio.
The phone is lucratively priced at Rs. 4,999. It will be available at all leading cell phone stores across the country in the next few days.

Vodafone has launched a new phone priced at Rs. 799. The phone will be available of sale in India after May 5.
The phone is comparatively cheaper than most other competitors’ handsets available in the market today. Named the Vodafone 150, the phone will be network locked. Vodafone will provide free connections and low calling costs to people who purchase the phone and use the Vodafone SIM card.
Currently, Vodafone is bundling the phone with its “MagicBox” offer wherein the user gets a new connection along with the phone.
Here is what Vodafone will offer should you buy the phone in Maharashtra/Goa:

Local calls to Vodafone phones will cost 30 p/minute, while local calls to other phones will cost 50 p/minute. For landline calls, you have to pay Re. 1/minute for the first one month. Users will also get 50 minutes of free talk time at night from 11 PM to 7 AM. This will also be available for the first one month. Rates may be different depending on the area. For this reason, contact a Vodafone representative to the check the rates in your area.
The phone is every Rupee worth the investment. The phone comes with a number of features such as a mini USB connector, alarm clock, torch, calculator and currency converter. It also comes with two games and can store 100 SMS messages. The battery is also not bad, providing up to 400 hours of standby time and five hours of talk time.
If you are looking for a cheap, but handy phone, the Vodafone 150 is a perfect choice for you.

Leading cell phone manufacturer Nokia will shortly launch a low-cost handset in India known as X2.
The cell phone comes with a 2.2 inch screen and weigh around 81 g. The phone also comes with dual speakers, music keys and FM radio. The internal memory can be expanded to 16 GB by using MicroSD cards.
Other features include Bluetooth support, USB 2.0 and a headphone jack. The cell phone will run on Nokia’s S40 to operating system.
The phone will be available in Indian market somewhere in June and will be priced at around Rs. 5000.
Nokia has not made more details about the phone available. It has not yet displayed the phone to journalists. Nokia is expecting that its new software will help it regain some of the market share that it lost to other cell phone Manufacturer’s in the recent few months.
Earlier last week, Nokia unveiled the N8, a new offering which will run on the new Symbian 3 software. The phone is expected to offer a stiff competition to Apple’s iPhone and the Blackberry.

HTC India has finally launched the HTC Legend smartphone in India. Legend is the successor to the HTC Hero and runs on Android OS. The smartphone comes in an aluminium enclosure and features the HTC Sense UI atop the Android 2.1 Eclair OS.
The Legend features a 3.2-inch capacitive AMOLED display supporting 320×480 pixel resolution. For the processor, it features a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor. For memory, it comes with 384MB RAM and 512MB ROM.
The Legend features a 5 mega pixel camera (2592×1944) with LED Flash, accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and digital compass. This smartphone also has GPS with A-GPS support. Legend supports 3G networks with HSDPA 900/1200 and quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 networks. One can also make use of the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g support for wireless Internet and Bluetooth 2.1 for files transfer.
Packing 1300mAh Li-ion battery, HTC Legend gives talk time of up to 7 hours on 2G Networks and up to 6 hours 10 minutes on 3G networks.
The HTC Legend is priced at Rs. 25,990 and will be soon be available across all major cities and towns in India.
