HTC Corporation has launched the HTC Desire smartphone in India. The company has entered into a partnership with Tata Docomo as the service provider. The HTC Desire is a high-end phone aimed at professionals and business users.
The HTC Desire runs on Android operating system customized to provide the ‘HTC Sense’ experience to users. The smartphone features a 3.7 inch screen that provides good brightness, contrast and true display.
Tata Docomo, the service provider is very enthusiastic about the phone. The company wishes to form more tie ups with HTC Corporation and bring more innovative products to the Indian market in the future. Currently, users who purchase HTC Desire and opt for the post-paid services will be getting 500MB of free data transfer per month for the first six months.
The HTC Desire is priced at Rs. 28,900 and will soon be available at all leading HTC resellers and mobile stores across the country.
A prototype of an ASUS phone has surfaced from Pakistan (?). The phone runs on Windows 7. Though there are high chances that this can be the real deal, it is advisable to keep fingers crossed for the time being. Truth is, we can never know for sure.
Assuming that the picture shown above is genuine, the phone looks very classy with its brushed metal finish. While no technical specifications are available, it looks like the phone features a 3.5 inch touch screen. We cannot be sure about anything else, but 8GB of internal memory may not be a wild guess.
When can you expect it in the streets? No one knows for sure. But can we expect sometime in October or November? Let us wait and see…
Nokia X6 cell phone is one of the best in the Nokia music cell phones series. However, it differs from other phones in the series in that it is a non-slider cell phone. It comes with a 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touch screen that can display 16M colors 360×640 pixels.

The phone comes with a 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto-focus, Dual LED flash, and video light. For camera mode, users can set the color tone, white balance, exposure, light sensor, contrast, and sharpness.
This mobile supports multitasking for some applications. The processor is ARM 11 434 MHz and the operating system (OS) is Symbian OS v9.4, Series 60 rel. 5. It also supports HDSPA 3.6 Mbps, EDGE class 32, GPRS class 32,WiFi 802.11 b/g with UpnP technology, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, micro USB, 3.5 mm Audio Jack.
