Industry experts predict that in the future the gap between laptops and smartphones will become very narrow. And it won’t be long before Google’s Android will make it to laptops. Already, a prototype laptop running Android has become available for all to see.
The laptop dubbed Alpha 680 is being developed by Airis, a Spanish company. It looks very much similar to an Android phone except that it is a laptop. The French Website Le Journal du Geek has pictures of the laptop.
The laptop displays the familiar Google search box and features an onscreen virtual keyboard for use as a tablet computer.
However, the Alpha 680 is still in development stages. There are many issues that need to be fixed and it still needs a lot of polish. Till date no other information is available and no one knows how much it will cost. As for now, we have to wait longer for an Android-based laptop.
